Goooood Morning! My first official What I Ate Wednesday post. Please let the record state that I am not a registered dietitian, an expert, or anywhere near perfect. I should also mention this post was not sponsored by Trader Joes.
Today included a great leg workout from Blogilates. Seriously. I felt my legs for two days after this workout.
Breakfast: An oatmeal "pancake" with natural peanut butter and maple syrup and an iced coffee with Almond Milk. I should probably scale back on the amount of maple syrup......you think?
Snack 1: Apples and peanut butter
Lunch: Udi's gluten free bread with Trader Joe's chicken salad. I ate the rest of my apple and some broccoli. Sometimes I'll only eat one slice of gluten free bread because they tend to be dry...Anyone else have that problem? I ate this about an hour before my leg workout.
Snack 2 (post workout snack): Strawberries and Almonds
Snack 3: Small amount of smoothie. It was made with coconut water (Trader Joe's brand), spinach, frozen mixed berries, and half a banana. It tastes better than it looks. Way to get a good picture....
Dinner: Trader Joe's gluten free chicken nuggets, homemade sweet potato fries (they were way too salty), and some frozen veggies.
Huh. After looking at what I ate today I feel like I eat a lot more veggies than I thought I did. Insightful.
I also had a small handful of M&Ms (what was left in the bag..)
This post does not reflect the water I drank with every meal and while working out. I didn't take pictures. Nothing fancy. Glass, ice, and water. boom.

Apples and nut butter are probably the best snack ever! Yum!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more :D Thanks for the comment :D
DeleteI am a huge fan of oatmeal pancakes but I am doing Paleo right now so they are not on the plan :( I miss them!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what I would do for breakfast if if I gave up my oatmeal. But going Paleo for awhile might be something I do someday. Thanks for the comment :)
